Introduction of Management UI

Welcome to the management view of the efsta Wallet. In this part of the application, you can define all settings for the operation of the efsta Digital Receipt and the efsta Wallet app (for storing digital receipts). These include both the display of the company in the application and the display of the receipt itself, as well as additional functions such as the (optional) customer card. Below you will find an overview of the relevant functions. You can obtain further information in the detailed pages of the documentation as required.

In order to properly configure the company for using the Digital Receipt, at least two configuration steps are recommended, though not required for initial implementation:

  1. Configuration of the company itself and customization of its appearance within the efsta Wallet app (primarily logo and display name)
  2. Providing a suitable logo to be displayed on every generated Digital Receipt (in Simple Bill)

All other settings can optionally be used for more detailed customization of the features and visualizations. Simply select the desired company in the management overview and get started with the configuration.

If you don't adjust any settings, your company will be represented by a placeholder in the efsta Wallet and no logo is displayed on the receipts either, only the company name. However, all relevant receipt information is retained even without configuration and any digital receipts which are issued can of course also be displayed using default settings.

Please Note

In order to use the efsta Digital Receipt productively, you must set the appropriate features on the company. To do this, please contact your cash register manufacturer, system partner or your efsta Partner Manager. No activation is required for trying out digital receipts created by a test-EFR. You can easily start examining the Digital Receipt with test-data from test-EFRs.

Basic Structure

The management application is split into three basic parts. These are the same in all views and will help with both orientation and navigation.

Title Bar

The title bar is the topmost area of the application, its primary function being the display of basic information, as well as orientation. The current title of the application section is always displayed, as well as the name of the currently selected company (if available). Based on the active page, the title bar shows useful options like switching the application theme or opening the appropriate guide in documentation.

Main Content

This is where the actual content of the page is located. At the overview, this will contain the list of companies, and when a company has been selected, it will contain its respective options. When leaving a page with pending changes, a warning is displayed and leaving the page must first be confirmed.

Confirmation

The navigation drawer (visible in the context of a selected company) is used for navigating through the individual settings and allows you to switch between its various views. The drawer is only visible if you have already selected a company, or opened the management of a specific company directly via the efsta Portal. When selecting a new company, you will be greeted with the dashboard as the first page.

Additional Documentation

To make usage of the management UI easier, you can also have look at the general quickstart guide to get a better understanding of the capabilities of the Digital Receipt, as well as the Smart Bill quickstart guide, which provides details about its requirements and all necessary steps to properly use the Smart Bill if needed. There are also dedicated pages of documentation for each view in the management UI, which give further insights on their functions and roles in combination with other settings (e.g. the company options and their influence on the efsta Wallet or Digital Receipt).

See the general quickstart guide to get a better understanding of the capabilities, as well as usage of the Digital Receipt. The Smart Bill quickstart guide provides details about its requirements and all necessary steps to properly use the Smart Bill.

tip

If you do not have access to the Management UI yet, please log into the efsta portal with your existing user account. There, you can navigate directly to the Bill Management UI and by doing so, all necessary settings will automatically be applied by the efsta portal (Get to the efsta portal here).
